Intro – Here is Bill Shade with today’s “Moment from God’s Word”.

Message

In the film, My Fair Lady, Professor Henry Higgins, once told Eliza Doolittle “the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.” Personally, I can’t vouch for the accuracy of that meteorological tidbit.

I have, however, recently discovered that the rain on a certain mountain in Montana tends to wander in three different directions. Raindrops that form in the exact same cloud can end up as part of the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, or Hudson Bay, depending on which part of the mountain they fall.

The mountain is called Triple Divide Peak and you’ll find it in Glacier National Park. The Continental Divide and the Laurentian Divide meet at the peak of this 8,020 foot mountain. This curious situation means that the slightest movement of the cloud, or rush of the wind may send a raindrop in a completely different and opposite direction.

Well, those raindrops have no control over their destiny – but you do. You can decide to trust Christ and spend eternity with Him, or reject Him, and flow along with the crowd into the pit of hell. But every life comes to a Continental Divide and has to flow one way or the other. Make the right choice today.

Closing – This is Kile Smith. You have been listening to Bible Teacher and author, Dr. Bill Shade, Director of Advanced Studies for Source of Light Ministries International.
